• I am Captain Peter Creutzberg, an Aruban sport-fishing veteran. Let me and my crew at Mahi Mahi Fishing Charters take you out for a fishing trip around the island of Aruba!

Over the years, I've fought hundreds of mahi mahi, marlins, sailfish and other Aruban game fish. I’ve always spent time on the water. I was born in Holland, and I am the son of a marine biologist. Although I’ve lived many places in my life, I now live in Aruba and I have operated Mahi Mahi Fishing Charters here since the year 2000. Presently I operate a 42-foot hot rod, but I’m also looking into the purchase of another fishing boat and I look forward to offering my services to more people visiting Aruba. We have many returning guests who value our philosophy of “telling it like it is.” We are very knowledgeable and we enjoy showing Aruba waters and marine life off to our customers.

Mahi Mahi Fishing Charters

If your passion is the ocean, and you are looking for a new and relaxing experience in fishing, you are sure to find Mahi Mahi the best decision when setting sail for Aruba.

The owner and operator himself, Peter Creutzberg, is passionate about fishing. His love for the ocean and his interest in catching great fish have lead him to open Mahi Mahi right in the famous Renaissance Market Place, next to the Seaport Casino in Aruba. Mahi Mahi has been in business for the past seven years, and our appeal has since made us the number-one tour operator among a slew of competitors.

At Mahi Mahi, our pride is our Hatteras Sportfisherman 42-footer with Caterpillar engines, approved by 'Scheepvaart Inspectie' Liability Insurance for guests up to US$ 1, 000, 0000. Our boat is maintained by licensed mechanics, while all the fishing equipment is maintained by Captain Peter himself. Mahi Mahi boasts a complete line of fishing equipment, including Penn Senator and Penn International. Plus, we fish out of the Seaport Marina. Therefore, from our departure dock, you will be fishing at the drop-offs in a matter of minutes. Upon your return, you can even take your catch to the local Que Pasa restaurant and have them prepare your catch for your dining pleasure. What’s more, other adventures can be arranged for guests who prefer swimming, snorkeling, bottom fishing or just exploring the beaches.

Whether you're an experienced off-shore pro, or planning your first deep-sea fishing trip, Mahi Mahi Fishing Charters is dedicated to your enjoyment of Aruba's famed boating and fishing adventures. So like the locals say, “Bon Bini!” Welcome aboard…

Traveler Reviews on the Web

"We stopped by the docks in Oranjestaad one day to check out the fishing fleet and charter options. My husband is an avid fisherman, and the chance to catch some Caribbean fish was a big part of our honeymoon...

"The charter boat, The Mahi Mahi, was a 42 foot long vessel. Downrigger, Outrigger (all terms I am only vaguely educated on), all in all there were 6 lines...

"The crew were great, they were very friendly and seemed to not only be very good at their business but quite happy doing it as well. All in all we had a great time. We did not keep any of the fish ourselves but never the less we had a great time!"
